Dr. Ellis Horowitz received his B.S. degree from Brooklyn College and his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin. He was on the faculty there and at Cornell University before assuming his present post as Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California. He has also been a visiting Professor at M.I.T. and the Israel Institute of Technology
